I'll begin this blog with posting a link to an article I published in Biblionet (Winter 2013), the journal released by The Association of Professional Librarians of New Brunswick. The article gives some of my perspectives on "connected storytimes" and the use of iPads in storytimes. The article stresses that iPads shouldn't replace traditional modes of storytime engagment such as physical books, felt boards, and action rhymes, but should be seen as "one more tool in the librarian’s storytime arsenal".
